Erin and I instantly connected over our home state of Maryland. We reminisced about the changing seasons, picking blue crabs in the summer, and living by the Chesapeake Bay. That bond carried us to re-branding Erin’s photography website, Erin Christine Photography.
For her re-brand, Erin wanted to narrow in on her ideal client, share her story and values, and provide clarity and ease of navigation for potential clients.
While sipping lavender tea, we discussed her key brand values, faith, and family. We shifted her focus from wedding photography to maternity photography to fit her lifestyle (a new mom) and her glowing and romantic aesthetic. Each time we met, I learned more about the sweet and caring soul that is Erin Delgado, and wrote it all down in her about page.
“Love guides me through life (especially when I’m behind the camera.) I warm to tender moments of surprise engagements, tear-filled vows, a swelling belly, and growing families. With a click, I record these acts of intimacy for life’s infinite love story.”
The style that I settled on was that of a slow-paced, dream-like, love story of family. I incorporated the love story theme throughout the site, from her about page to her pricing and experience sections.
“Chapter 1: We meet in person and share a slice of hand-made cake as I run you through the whole photography process. I answer any questions you might have about the photo session to come. We get to know each other and I learn your love story.
Chapter 2: The photo session begins, and it’s fun, positive, and unique to your story.
Chapter 3: 2-3 weeks after the session comes the big studio reveal of high-quality prints and albums for you to order from.”
“Shannon sat down and got to know me personally as she went through my website. She really got to know me and my style. So even though I wasn’t physically writing, it sounded like I was. If you have a website you don’t want it to sound like someone else is writing, you want it to sound like yourself. You want to have a personal connection with potential clients and I definitely feel like I have that now.” – Erin, Erin Christine Photography
