Wild Hearts & Halos

Krystal is a dreamer, an adventurer, and the creator of Wild Hearts & Halos, a boho lifestyle brand. She first created her iconic headbands to fund her mission trip to Africa. Not only was she able to fund her trip, but she found that people fell in love with her work and wanted more. So Krystal set out to build her business and launch her website.
When it came time to writing the product descriptions for Wild Hearts & Halos, she turned to me for copy. She asked that each headband tell a story that transports the reader to a specific country, festival, or adventure. So I began researching the Thailand’s Floating Lantern Festival, jungle safaris in Indonesia, Tuscany’s sunflower fields, and the Pink Pop Music Festival in the Netherlands.
Welcome the coming full moon and all of spring’s vibrant hues with this Holi inspired headband. The pattern celebrates the free for all Festival of Color in Nepal where people toss natural dyes of turmeric, sandalwood, beetroot, indigo, and hibiscus into the air. Push your hair back with the Festival of Color Halo and paint your face and those around you with love and color.
Each description listed ways to style your hair with the headband, as well as the feelings, sights, and actions anyone wearing the headband would take on their journey. The descriptions played to Wild Hearts & Halos appeal to eco-travelers, bohemian fashionistas, and adventurous festival-goers.
Dive deep into the waters of Fiji with the Rainbow Coral Reef Halo. Patterned with lush flowers, the headband mirrors the soft coral blooms, sea fans, and anemones that blanket Fiji’s reef. The fabric is gentle like the current and pairs perfectly with tousled beach waves.
